Bro. Jimmy Banks answered God's calling and came to Lighthouse Baptist Church in October of 1995. He graduated from Trinity Baptist College, Jacksonville, Florida in 1993. After graduating, Bro. Jimmy served as the Youth Pastor at Open Door Baptist Church in Denham Springs, LA.
We are truly thankful that our pastor is a man driven by the desire to serve God whole- heartedly. Just as Christ preached, lived, loved and served while on this earth, Bro. Jimmy Banks earnestly desires to do God's will - no matter the sacrifice. He has the conviction to encourage, exhort, rebuke, teach and reach all for the cause of Christ. We encourage you to visit our church and hear our Pastor's evangelical preaching of what God has placed on his heart not only for our congregation, but for his own life as well.
